Our Humble Beginnings

Sin Bin Shop started in a small garage in the Chicago suburbs in 2017. Frustrated by flimsy plastic hangers that scratched their favorite sticks, our founders - hockey players and collectors - set out to design a display solution that was both durable and elegant.

Prototyping & Innovation

Over several weekends, dozens of prototypes were built and tested - metal coat hooks, 3D-printed models, and homemade mockups all found their way into our living rooms. We ultimately chose aerospace-grade 6061 aluminum for its lightweight strength and CNC-precision machining.

Community Feedback

The first production run debuted at a local rink tournament, where players and parents lined up to test the new mounts. Their feedback - about fit, finish, and ease of installation - helped us refine the design into the mounts you see today.

Craftsmanship & Quality

Every bracket is milled from a single billet of aluminum, anodized matte black to resist rust and glare, and lined with hook-and-loop pads to protect tape, paint, and signatures. Precision tolerances and load testing (25 lb capacity) ensure a secure, floating display for any stick.

Growing Reach

Since 2018 we’ve expanded from the Chicago area to a nationwide audience via our website, Etsy, and Amazon. We’ve shipped over 20,000 mounts - bringing game-used and autographed sticks into homes, man caves, and pro shops from coast to coast.
